Update August 15th 2015

Brian and Sheila delivered donated goods - eye glasses, school supplies, books and some clothes  to SUDEN in Quebec City last week who ships them by  container to Guatemala. Brian helps load the barrels.Glad to help SUDEN , they do so much for Saludos Ninos!

July 18th 2015 update

 Luc, a volunteer who visited this year donated a swing set which ,as you can see, is a big hit.

                                  We received hats, mitts and scarves from SUDEN for all the kids! 

July 17th 2015 update.

   Our Panyebar teachers continue to create beautiful jewelry and Christmas ornaments for us to bring home to sell in order to help raise funds for the program. They are doing such a terrific job to provide unique gifts for you to buy at our craft sales.

Knitting needles donated this year were turned over to Paty who then distributed them to very happy mums who could then make hats and scarves.

Sheila demonstrated  to Delores, the director of Panyebar centre, how to use various learning kits on math, time sequencing and word positioning. 

These donated kits are such a wonderful addition to the program materials.

Young doctors April 4th 2015 update

Cathy and Jutta and your doctor nurse team from Heritage College who visited Panyebar this year.

Paty sent me pictures of how the kids were dressed for the fair in that village this year.

Many of the kids traded their traditional Mayan outfits to dress as medical personnel. 

Heritage College to issue tax tax receipts for Guatemala Daycare Project.

 Heritage College has partnered with us at SaludosNinos for the past 5 years in Guatemala and will issue tax receipts for Saludos Ninos from Canadian donors.

Cheques are to be  made out Heritage College , write  " for Guatemala Project" in the memo section.

Mail the cheque to : Sheila Silver,  Box 566, Wakefield, Quebec, J0X 3G0.  Include  your proper mailing address, telephone number and email to ensure notification when  your donation is received and the mailing of your tax receipt promptly.
