January 21st 2017. Planning new term with 60 children

We had a meeting on Wednesday to discuss plans for this year for the centre.
The yard will be leveled out to provide  more play space; the bottom of the slide will be raised for better safety.
All our teachers house their classes in 1 building now!
Delores  moved her class down to share share in Juana's classroom so all the students are together.
No more running up and down the hill between buildings. Picture to follow.
A big shelving unit is currently being built to separate the 2 teacher's classes.

Our teachers received sunglasses and reading glasses. They are happy!
A big thank you to Dr Barbara Katz ( Wakefield) for sending them

January 12th 2017 update

Finally our kids have been exposed to a real fun activity just before Christmas.
They got to go on a picnic to a swimming pool about an hour and a half away in San Pedro.
What a thrill! It is so nice to see them doing something that our kids take so much for granted.
