 Chelsea Christmas Craft Sale 

December 7th from 10 am until 3 pm

Chelsea Elementary School 74 Old Chelsea Rd. Chelsea Quebec.
This  is our major craft display and sale. A great event to drop into to meet us, see our display and stock up on interesting Guatemalan handicrafts in support of the daycare.

 Market Fair at Heritage College

 Located at 325 Bd de la Cite des Jeunes, Gatineau
CEGEP Heritage College nursing and early childhood education programs have teemed with us to provide a cultural and humanitarian work experience in the daycares in Guatemala in February and March, 2014. This market fair will  afford the opportunity to meet us and the Heritage teams while shopping for quality gifts from Guatemala

Sept.16,2013 Gearing up for another exciting year

Preparations are well underway for another exciting year in the daycares!
Heritage College nursing and early childhood education students have been selected for 2014.
Brian and Sheila will join the Heritage team for an information session, Friday, Sept. 27th.


                                         2013- In front of the new bottle classroom built at
                                         Chacap with Mateo who introduced us to building
                                         with bottles and guided us through the process.

                                           Heritage College teams eat lunch on the Chicken
                                             bus rented to get them to Santa Maria daycares.

used to wash dishes in or do laundry as needed.

Palestina daycare to keep kids out of the sun.

                                         A badly infected thumb gets cared for by the doctor
                                           who visited the daycare with Heritage College.

                                           The power of books to teach and entertain.

Daycare mums and volunteers working on a new
 classroom.( 10 mothers and 25 kids collected and
stuffed nearly 200 bottles with trash for the class.)

This daycare class lines up to say goodbye to the
volunteers who helped with art activities and
building a new bottle classroom today.

April 2nd 2013 update

Happily awaiting a turn to ride in the
new swing installed at Chacap.

March 20th 2013 update

  • Finally we are able to get the cracks covered in the classroom at Punyebar. Now the on a windy day rain will not get into the classroom making everyone more comfortable.                               


 Purchasing handicrafts to sell in Canada.
We buy to help this family now and sell the goods here in
Canada to help fund our daycares.
